A heritage of visionary thinking

Founded by Lang Walker AO and his father Alec in 1964, Walker Corporation started life as a contracting business specialising in earth moving and excavation to deliver foundation materials for major infrastructure works. Fast forward to today and Lang is the Executive Chairman of Walker Corporation, bringing his precision, passion and attention to detail to every project.

Walker Corporation’s role at Toondah Harbour

Walker Corporation first became involved in Toondah Harbour after a request was made by Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) and Redland City Council in 2014 for private developers to express interest in the rejuvenation and expansion project. After a competitive tender process, Walker Corporation was selected as the preferred developer.

As the landowners of the Toondah Harbour site, Economic Development Queensland and Redland City Council have entrusted the experienced team at Walker Corporation to bring the vision for Toondah Harbour to life. Walker Corporation will finance this long-awaited upgrade at no risk or cost to government and taxpayers.

Following feedback received from the community in relation to Toondah Harbour, Walker Corporation has integrated many new and alternative elements into the masterplan, ensuring the project meets the needs and wants of Redlands Coast locals.
