New family fun zone for the Redlands Coast

Weekends and school holidays in the Redlands will never be the same again under plans to create a new family fun zone at Toondah Harbour, including a South Bank-style lagoon pool and water play area.

Local families will no longer have to leave the region in search of entertainment when they have a world-class recreational hub on their doorstep in Cleveland.

Connecting the heart of the city with the harbour and Moreton Bay Islands, this premier lifestyle destination will feature 3.5 hectare foreshore parklands.

The centrepiece will be a South Bank-style park, including a lagoon pool and water play area – perfect for those hot summer days. There will also be a variety of walking paths, picnic spots and green open spaces.

The recreational area will also feature a 3.5-hectare conservation park with wetland education and cultural centre, bird hides and low impact walking trails.

A marina plaza with boutique retail and dining precinct will become a sought after leisure and events destination attracting the local community and tourists to the region.

Once completed, Toondah Harbour will be a pre-eminent, waterfront destination for the entire Redlands community. It will be a valuable community asset for the region and wonderful waterfront location where friends and families can enjoy the best the Redlands Coast has to offer.
