Once an eyesore, Walker Corporation has transformed Wooloomooloo Wharf into an international landmark destination. The original wharf (the Finger Wharf as it was known) was built in 1915 and was the largest wooden structure in the world.
From 1996 to 1999, Walker Corporation invested $300 million into revitalising the wharf as a dynamic mixed-use development, featuring 300 apartments, hotel, retail, restaurants, marina, commercial space and carparking.
